People of the Sea is an uplifting anthem from Mālaga: The Journey, with music by Tuilagi Dr Igelese Ete, choirmaster of Disney's Moana and music supervisor for the film Tinā, and lyrics by Jakki Leota-Mua.
Sung with conviction, it celebrates who we are as Pacific people: free to choose and free to be, strong together, and grounded in faith as we ask of le Atua and receive His blessings. Blending English and Samoan, it is a song of identity and pride for tupulaga and āiga across Moana Nui a Kiwa.
